Visiting Earl in Hermiston, Oregon

Pang and I visited one of my best friends in Hermiston, Oregon. Earl lives in this remote town and desperately wants to move back to Seattle. After being in Hermiston for two hours it seemed like I had been there for two weeks. There is absolutely nothing to do in this town but go to the dollar store and walk around walmart. We spent most of our time just hanging out talking. Now I understand why Earl is trying to relocate.

I have to mention that this town does have one thing going for it. The town is located in an area with a 600 square mile wifi network that it free to the public. This is one incentive that makes the place business friendly and maybe the place could even build a high tech community.

Earl and me with "the Butte" in the background. I'm told that the Butte is a tourist attraction.

This is Earl's favorite place. The second pole from the left has an hawks nest on top.

The Good Samaritan Hospital with Old Glory flying high.

While standing here posing for the picture I met a guy fishing for sturgeon.
