Gimme a Break!

I'm taking a break from the fitness bootcamp. Was it too hard? Heck yah it was hard. One day the instructor started the class on a 20 mins jog at a pace of 5 mph with an incline of 15% and considering the practice of running backwards on the treadmill at a 4.0 mph pace or jogging sideways on the treadmill as breaks in the jog isn't my idea of your average workout. The last two weeks I've been exhausted all the time. Will I go back. Yes, afterall I have pre-paid for the session.

The Best Workout in the World

Today I signed up for Barry's Boot Camp. Barry's BC is an intense 60 min workout session inspired by the Army's physical fitness training program. During the session the instructor actually gives you a t-shirt if you throw while working out. The wavier form to sign up for academy stated that sessions may cause one to experience fainting, heart attack, serious injury, or death. As I was standing at the counter signing up for the academy the instructor conducting a class actually left the class to ask me if I was going to sign up for her class. When I said yes, her response was that she cannot wait to get ahold of me. Now I'm sacred.... the instructors are known to have enlistees run on the treadmill while holding dumbbells in their extended arms in front of them. I figure that the month long course, which is 5 days a week, should make me lose at least 20 lbs if not more. Of course I'll make entries in my blog sharing the experience.
